Block Shift support
Questions, a saved-game problem, or feedback about a puzzle?
What to include
- Your app version, device model and operating-system version.
- What happened and what you expected.
- Whether you were playing the normal game, Daily Shift, a Challenge or a Starter puzzle.
- An optional screenshot or recording, with private information removed.
Game menu → Settings → Build & feedback provides a report you can inspect and copy. Nothing is sent automatically. Do not send passwords, private signing keys, payment-card details or full saved-game files unless a specific, safe diagnostic step has been agreed.
Protect your progress
Do not uninstall or clear storage as your first troubleshooting step: progress is local and may be lost. If the app reports a save problem, use its retry/recovery controls and contact support before confirming a reset you do not intend. We do not have a server copy of your board or challenge progress.
Offline play
Core puzzles work offline. In Android build 28 and iOS build 30, an unavailable age check still allows existing puzzles unless a check was already required or its saved requirement cannot be read. Google Play or Apple's services may need a connection to resolve those cases. In older SDK-enabled testing builds, advertising and purchase services may be unavailable offline; retry an uncertain purchase status when connected rather than purchasing repeatedly.
iOS version: 0.25.0 (build 30)
The iOS version is named Block Shift: Untimed Puzzle on the App Store and has no ads or purchase offers. Check App Store availability; access depends on review, rollout, device and region, and the listing may not be accessible before approval. Use TestFlight only if you receive an authorized invitation; do not install a development fixture or replace an existing app to bypass a check.
Open Game menu → Settings → Apple age check to view the result or retry. Apple may show a system age-range sharing sheet on supported versions. Optional sharing can be declined. The game does not treat an unavailable, declined or empty result as adulthood or parental approval.
- No requirement or unsupported older iOS: existing puzzles remain available when there is no earlier requirement and saved state is readable. An older OS cannot clear an existing requirement.
- Required check cannot finish: use Retry. On supported iOS versions, review Settings → your Apple Account → Personal Information → Age Range for Apps, then return to the game. Apple handles its own account and verification process.
- Ordinary failure: follow the displayed advice. Continue playing is available when no known requirement or saved-state recovery blocks it.
- Saved state cannot be recovered: retry, update iOS if needed and contact support. Do not clear storage or reset your puzzles to bypass it.
Send only the displayed message and app/OS version when reporting a problem. Do not send age ranges, Apple Account credentials, identity documents or verification details. A missing system prompt does not prove that every Apple sharing or parental scenario has been tested.
Android release: 0.24.0 (build 28)
This Android release has no ads or purchase/restore offers. Google Play may ask whether to share an age range or may require verification under its regional rules. This is not the older advertising-age question, and Block Shift does not ask for a birth date or identity document in the game. Whether a Google prompt appears depends on Play availability, region and account settings; no prompt is not automatically a fault.
- Check unavailable: follow the displayed update/connection advice and use Retry. Continue playing is available when there is no known verification requirement and its saved state is readable.
- Verification required: open Google Play, follow Google's instructions, return to Block Shift and use Retry. Do not send identity documents to game support.
- Saved check cannot be read or saved: use Retry and contact support if it persists. Do not clear storage or reset your puzzles to bypass it.
- Optional sharing declined or no range returned: the existing puzzles stay the same; the game does not assume an adult age or parental approval.
Use Game menu → Settings → Google Play age check to view the result or retry. Update through Google Play without uninstalling. If reporting an issue, share the displayed message and app/OS version, not your age range, Google account details, install IDs or verification documents. The Privacy Policy explains the transient processing and local requirement flag.
SDK-free Android preview: 0.23.0 (build 27)
This Android release has no ads, purchase or restore menus, or advertising-age and Google consent prompts. Their absence is expected, not a fault. Existing local game saves are reused; updating does not cancel previous store transactions or erase records held by purchase providers. Do not clear progress or buy again to make a missing menu return. Privacy and support pages open in your external browser and still need a connection. See the Privacy Policy for the distinction between this release and SDK-enabled test builds.
Older private test purchases
Local-demo and RevenueCat Test Store purchases are simulations and do not transfer into a future paid entitlement. Their reset/restore behavior is separate from a real store purchase.
For any Google Play billing test, use the designated license-test account and confirm Google's sheet shows a test order and test payment method. Membership of an internal testing track alone does not prevent real charges. Cancel if a real payment method or an unexpected charge is shown.
