Deckstiny — Terms of Use

Effective date: 6 May 2026 · Applies to Deckstiny v1.0 and later

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Deckstiny mobile game ("Deckstiny", "the app", "we", "us"). Deckstiny is published by Gökhan Oguz ("Oguz Games"). By downloading or using Deckstiny you agree to these Terms.

If you obtained Deckstiny through the Apple App Store, the Apple Media Services Terms (including Apple's standard EULA at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also apply to your use of the app and take precedence over any conflicting terms below. If you obtained Deckstiny through Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply. These Terms are between you and Oguz Games — Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Deckstiny.

The Licence We Grant You

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Deckstiny on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app or its assets except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

In-App Purchases

Deckstiny is free to download. The full game (all launch heroes, all floors, all Ascension levels) can be unlocked with a single one-time in-app purchase called the Spire Pass, sold for the price displayed in the app at the time of purchase.

The Spire Pass is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewals, and no recurring charges.
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Refunds, billing disputes, and payment-method issues are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies — Oguz Games cannot directly issue refunds.
The Spire Pass unlocks the content listed on the in-app paywall at the time of purchase. We do not guarantee that future content (post-launch heroes, floors, or cosmetics) will be included in the Spire Pass; such content may be sold separately.
Bug fixes and balance changes to the launch content remain available to all players, including free-tier players, at no additional cost.
You can restore a previous Spire Pass purchase on a new device by signing into the same App Store or Play Store account and tapping Restore Purchases in Settings or on the in-app paywall.

What You Are Responsible For

You are responsible for any device, network, or carrier charges that arise from downloading or using Deckstiny. The app works fully offline once downloaded; the only network features are the optional daily-challenge leaderboard and the in-app purchase flow.

Acceptable Use

Deckstiny is a single-player game with no in-game chat, no user-generated content shared between players, and no community features beyond an anonymous score leaderboard. You agree not to use the app to attempt to access other players' accounts (there are none), to interfere with the leaderboard (e.g. by submitting fabricated scores or spamming entries), or to use Deckstiny in any way that would violate applicable law.

Intellectual Property

Deckstiny — including its game design, code, text, illustrations, audio, and the "Deckstiny" name — is owned by Gökhan Oguz / Oguz Games and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Third-party assets used under licence are listed in the in-app Credits screen and in the project's public attributions document.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Deckstiny is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (but not limited to) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so the above exclusions may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oguz Games will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of Deckstiny. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the app is limited to the amount you actually paid Oguz Games (via Apple or Google) for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose, or, if greater, ten US dollars (USD 10).

Termination

You may stop using Deckstiny at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you materially breach these Terms or use the app in a way that creates legal or operational risk for us. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of Deckstiny after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be summarised in the in-app patch notes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer-protection rights under the law of your country of residence.
