Support & FAQ
An idle museum-curation game. Your dig sites unearth artifacts; your workshop restores them; your patrons fund the next expedition. Single player, plays offline, runs on iOS and Android.
When you've earned enough renown you can Donate your collection to the museum, prestige, and unlock the next historical era. Each era brings new dig sites, patrons, and artifacts. Your gold and artifacts reset, but gems, renown, and era progress carry forward.
Artifacts arrive damaged and must be restored in the workshop before they can be displayed. Restoration takes real time (or gems / a short ad to skip). Rarer artifacts take longer but are worth more renown and patron interest.
Patrons appear with time-limited contracts offering gold, gems, or both. Curator commissions are permanent standing offers that never expire.
An optional monthly subscription that grants 50 gems per daily login, removes interstitial ads, and doubles patron tip rewards. It auto-renews until you cancel. Manage it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Gem packs are one-time consumable purchases. The Quiet Museum (remove interstitial ads) is a one-time non-consumable purchase. Rewarded ads remain available even after purchasing Quiet Museum.
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, open Settings → Shop and tap Restore Purchases to recover non-consumable and subscription entitlements. Note that purchases are tied to your Apple ID or Google account, not to your in-game progress.
Idle Archaeologist stores all your progress locally on your device. We do not keep a copy of your save data on any server. To move your save to a new device or keep your own backup, open Settings → Backup and use Export save to save it as a file (you can email it to yourself or store it in your favourite cloud-storage app), then Import save on the destination device. Uninstalling the app deletes the on-device save permanently — we cannot recover it. For details on how the app handles data, see the Privacy Policy.
