By downloading, installing, or playing Idle Archaeologist ("the Game"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. The Game

Idle Archaeologist is a single-player idle / incremental game developed by Gökhan Oğuz. The Game is provided "as is" for personal entertainment. Features, content, balance values, and availability may change at any time without prior notice.

2. Save data

The Game runs entirely on your device and does not require an account. Your save state is stored locally; you can manually back it up from Settings → Backup by exporting it to a file and re-importing later.

3. In-app purchases

The Game offers optional in-app purchases:

• Gem packs — consumable in-game currency for speeding up restoration timers, refilling stamina, and similar convenience boosts.
• "Quiet Museum" no-ads — a one-time non-consumable purchase that disables interstitial ads. Optional rewarded videos remain available because they grant in-game rewards on demand.
• Patron Pass — an auto-renewing monthly subscription that grants a daily 50-gem bonus, doubles patron contract tips, and disables interstitial ads while active.

Subscription terms:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel auto-renewal at any time from your Apple ID account settings (iOS) or Google Play subscriptions (Android).
• The current price for each plan is shown in-app before purchase. Pricing may vary by region and is subject to change.
• Refund requests must be directed to the store where the purchase was made (Apple or Google), in line with their respective refund policies.
• Gems and other consumable currency have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable between accounts.

4. Advertising

The free tier of the Game is ad-supported. We use Google AdMob to serve optional rewarded videos and short interstitial ads at session-close and era-unlock transitions. The "Quiet Museum" purchase and the Patron Pass subscription disable interstitials. See the Privacy Policy for details on what data ads use.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Game or its purchase verification.
• Use modified clients, automation tools, or exploits to gain unfair currency or progression advantages.
• Use the Game in a way that violates the rights of another person or any applicable law.
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them.

We reserve the right to disable Restore Purchases and remote tuning for accounts that violate these rules. Local play is unaffected.

6. Intellectual property

All content in the Game — including code, art, music, narrative copy, and UI — is the intellectual property of Gökhan Oğuz or used under license. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Game without written permission, except for personal screenshots and gameplay recordings shared on social media or video platforms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Game will be error-free, uninterrupted, balanced, or available at all times. Game balance values may change at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Game. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the preceding twelve months, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

9. Data and privacy

See the Privacy Policy for details on what information the Game handles. You can clear all on-device data at any time by uninstalling the Game.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to optional services (Restore Purchases) for material breach of these terms. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 12 survive termination.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
