Privacy Policy
Short version: the app has no account, cloud sync, ads, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated server. Reader profiles, imported text, and progress stay on the device. Optional read-along uses the device's speech-recognition service while the reader is actively reading; the app never saves voice audio or the temporary transcript.
The app stores the following locally so its reading features work:
This data is not uploaded to us. It is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, diagnosis, or comparison with other readers.
The app does not require an account or sign-in. There is no cloud profile, cloud backup, public profile, leaderboard, chat, or social feature.
Read-along is optional and off by default. If a parent enables it and the reader starts reading aloud, the app asks the operating system's speech-recognition service to create a temporary text transcript. The transcript is used in memory to highlight progress through the passage.
The app does not access or save raw voice audio, does not save the transcript, and does not send either to a server operated by us. Depending on the device, installed language, and operating-system settings, Apple, Google, or another configured speech provider may process speech on the device or through its own servers. That processing is governed by the provider's privacy terms. Microphone permission can be revoked at any time in device settings.
Read-aloud uses the text-to-speech service and voice installed on the device. Many voices work entirely on the device; some downloadable or streaming voices may contact the operating-system provider. The app does not operate a text-to-speech server.
A parent or caregiver can choose a supported document from the device or share one from another app. The app parses that file locally and stores the resulting reading text locally.
If a parent imports a web page, the app makes a direct encrypted HTTPS request from the device to the website selected by the parent. The chosen website will receive ordinary connection information such as the device's IP address and the requested URL under that website's own privacy policy. We do not proxy, log, or receive the URL or page content. The extracted reading text remains on the device.
A parent can explicitly export a progress report as PDF or CSV through the operating system's share sheet. The app sends the report only to the destination the parent chooses. After sharing, that destination's privacy practices apply.
We do not use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob, Facebook SDK, advertising identifiers, attribution SDKs, or third-party behavioral analytics. The app contains no ads.
The app is designed for children and families. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children on a developer-operated server. There is no account, public communication, advertising, or behavioral tracking. Parent-facing management, imports, exports, and progress controls are placed in the grown-ups area.
A parent can delete reader profiles and imported texts inside the app. Deleting the app, or clearing its storage through device settings, removes all app-managed local data. Because we do not hold a remote reader record, there is normally nothing for us to delete from a server. Detailed steps are on the support page.
Local information remains until a parent deletes it, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. Parent-requested web imports use HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep the device protected and report suspected vulnerabilities to the contact address below.
For privacy questions or rights requests, email m.gokhanoguz2@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. Since app data is stored locally rather than in an account we control, access, correction, export, and deletion are normally performed directly on the device.
If the app's data practices materially change, this page and its "Last updated" date will be revised before the changed version is submitted to an app store.
