For technical help, please include:

• device model and iOS or Android version;
• the app version;
• the reader language in use;
• what happened and what you expected; and
• a screenshot, if it does not contain private reading information.

Delete reading data

The app has no online account or developer-held reader profile.

• Delete a reader: open Grown-ups → Readers → choose the reader → Delete. The app keeps one active local reader so it can continue to function.
• Delete imported text: open Imported texts, then use the text's delete action.
• Delete everything: uninstall the app, or clear its storage from the operating system's app settings.

These actions remove app-managed information from the device. There is no cloud copy held by the developer. If you still have a privacy question, email the address above and we will respond within 30 days.

Microphone help

Read-along is optional. It can be switched off under Grown-ups → Reading aloud together. Microphone and speech-recognition permission can also be revoked in the device's privacy settings.

Educational scope

Dyslexia Reading Companion supports reading practice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent dyslexia or any other condition. For concerns about a child's reading development, consult a qualified educator or clinician.
