Privacy Policy
Short version: Sesla is an AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) app that runs entirely on your device. There is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics, no ads, and no advertising identifier. The only thing that ever leaves your device is the in-app purchase confirmation we need to remember that you bought Sesla Plus.
Sesla uses a local database on your device to keep your boards, symbols, profiles, sentence history, voice and language preferences, and your subscription state. This data lives only on the device and is never transmitted to any server we operate.
Sesla does not require an account. There is no sign-in flow, no cloud sync, and no leaderboard. Your boards, profiles, and sentence history stay on the device.
If you choose to buy Sesla Plus, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) under their respective privacy policies. We never see your payment card, billing address, or Apple/Google account email.
To deliver the Plus features across reinstalls and to verify "Restore Purchases", Sesla uses RevenueCat as a purchase-management service. RevenueCat is given an anonymous identifier (a random ID generated on first launch) plus the purchase metadata that the platform store sends — product ID, transaction ID, country, currency. RevenueCat acts as our service provider and does not use this data to advertise to you or to track you across other apps. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.
Sesla speaks symbols and sentences using the text-to-speech engine built into your device's operating system (Apple's AVSpeech on iOS, Android's TextToSpeech on Android). On most devices this runs locally with no network call; some Android voices may stream from Google's servers. Sesla itself does not send the spoken text anywhere — what the OS does with it is governed by Apple or Google's privacy terms.
Sesla does not request access to your microphone, contacts, or location. If you choose to add a custom symbol from a photo (a Sesla Plus feature), the app will ask for permission to read the single image you select. The image is stored only on your device, never uploaded.
The app uses these services to function. Each has its own privacy policy that governs the data they receive.
We do not use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob, Facebook SDK, or any third-party analytics or advertising SDK. The app contains no ads.
Sesla is designed for non-speaking children, adolescents, and adults, used together with a parent, caregiver, or speech-language professional. The app does not collect personal information about the user. There is no account, no sign-in, no in-app communication, and no shared content. Purchases require the device's standard parental-approval mechanism.
Because all your content lives on your device, you can clear it at any time by deleting the app or by using your device's app storage settings. You can also email m.gokhanoguz2@gmail.com with any privacy question and we will respond within 30 days.
We do not store any of your personal data on our servers because we do not have any. RevenueCat retains purchase records for as long as needed to honor "Restore Purchases" and to meet tax/audit obligations.
Purchase processing happens on Apple and Google infrastructure worldwide. RevenueCat operates infrastructure in the United States. Both publish details of their sub-processors and locations.
Network traffic between the app and RevenueCat or the platform stores is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS). Despite reasonable safeguards, no system is perfectly secure; please report any suspected vulnerability to the contact address above.
If material changes are made, the "Effective date" above will be updated and a notice will be posted on this page. Minor clarifications may be made at any time.
