By downloading, installing, or using Sesla ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Sesla is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app developed by Gökhan Oğuz. The App is provided "as is" to support personal communication. Sesla is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Features, content, and availability may change at any time without prior notice.

2. Accounts and sign-in

Sesla does not require an account. There is no sign-in flow and no cloud sync.

3. Sesla Plus subscription

Sesla Plus is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the full set of categories, custom boards and symbols, multiple profiles, and backup and restore. It is offered as a monthly or annual plan through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel auto-renewal at any time from your Apple ID account settings (iOS) or Google Play subscriptions (Android).
The current price for each plan is shown in-app before purchase. Pricing may vary by region and is subject to change.
Refund requests must be directed to the store where the purchase was made (Apple or Google), in line with their respective refund policies.

The free tier of Sesla is available indefinitely without charge and includes the home board, the Food and Feelings categories, one user profile, and the on-device text-to-speech voices provided by your device.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its purchase verification.
Use the App in a way that violates the rights of another person or any applicable law.
Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them.

5. Intellectual property

All content in the App — including code, art, symbol artwork, board layouts, and UI — is the intellectual property of Gökhan Oğuz or used under license. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without written permission. Symbols and content you create yourself within the App belong to you.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times. The App is a communication aid; it is not a substitute for clinical assessment or treatment by a qualified speech-language professional.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

8. Data and privacy

Your data lives on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details on what information the App handles. You can clear all your local data at any time by uninstalling the App or using your device's app storage controls.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
