Tile Kingdoms — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 May 2026 · Applies to Tile Kingdoms v1.0 and later

This Privacy Policy describes how the Tile Kingdoms mobile game ("Tile Kingdoms", "the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. Tile Kingdoms is published by Gökhan Oguz ("Oguz Games").

Summary

Tile Kingdoms is a multiplayer strategy game that runs on our servers. You play anonymously — no email, no password, no social login. We collect only what is needed to run the game and show you ads. We do not sell your data.

Your Account

When you first launch Tile Kingdoms, a Firebase anonymous account is created automatically. This gives you a random, opaque user ID — no email, no name, no login credentials. Your in-game display name is chosen by you and stored on our server alongside this anonymous ID.

If you uninstall and reinstall the app, a new anonymous account is created and your previous game progress cannot be recovered.

What We Store on Our Server

Because Tile Kingdoms is a multiplayer game, your gameplay state lives on our backend (hosted on Google Cloud Run). This includes:

This data is keyed to your anonymous Firebase ID. It is not linked to your real identity.

In-App Purchases

Tile Kingdoms offers optional in-app purchases (Season Pass, cosmetic packs, ad removal). Transactions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) under their respective privacy policies. Oguz Games never sees your payment card, billing address, or store account email.

To deliver purchased items and support "Restore Purchases", Tile Kingdoms uses RevenueCat as a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives your anonymous player ID plus purchase metadata from the platform store (product ID, transaction ID, country, currency). RevenueCat acts as our service provider and does not use this data to track you across other apps.

Advertising

Tile Kingdoms shows optional rewarded ads via Google AdMob. You choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward. We do not show banner ads, interstitial ads, or any forced advertising.

AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and interaction data to serve and measure ads. On iOS, Tile Kingdoms does not request the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt — AdMob operates in a limited, non-personalised mode. On Android, AdMob may use the Advertising ID unless you have opted out in your device settings.

If you purchase the Remove Ads in-app purchase, the AdMob SDK is not initialised and no ad-related data collection occurs.

Push Notifications

Tile Kingdoms uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications (e.g. "your settlement is under attack"). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings. FCM assigns an installation-scoped token that is not linked to your real identity.

Crash Reporting

To find and fix bugs, Tile Kingdoms sends crash reports and non-fatal error reports to Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service). Reports include:

Crash reports do not contain your real name, email, or player display name. Reports are retained by Firebase for 90 days.

Analytics

Tile Kingdoms sends lightweight, anonymous gameplay analytics to our own backend (not a third-party analytics service). These events help us understand game balance and detect issues — for example, how many settlements are founded per season, or how often combat results in a draw. Events contain your anonymous player ID but no device identifiers, no IP addresses, and no advertising IDs.

What We Do Not Collect

Children's Privacy

Tile Kingdoms is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-Party Services

The app integrates the following third-party services:

Your Choices

International Users

Game data is processed on servers in regions operated by Google Cloud (currently the European Union). Because we do not collect personal data beyond an anonymous identifier, no special transfer mechanism is required for the categories listed in this policy.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the "Effective date" above and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will be noted in the in-app patch notes.
