Tile Kingdoms — Terms of Use

Effective date: 13 May 2026 · Applies to Tile Kingdoms v1.0 and later

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Tile Kingdoms mobile game ("Tile Kingdoms", "the app", "we", "us"). Tile Kingdoms is published by Gökhan Oguz ("Oguz Games"). By downloading or using Tile Kingdoms you agree to these Terms.

If you obtained Tile Kingdoms through the Apple App Store, the Apple Media Services Terms (including Apple's standard EULA at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also apply and take precedence over any conflicting terms below. If you obtained Tile Kingdoms through Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply. These Terms are between you and Oguz Games — Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Tile Kingdoms.

The Licence We Grant You

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Tile Kingdoms on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app or its assets except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

Your Account

Tile Kingdoms creates an anonymous account for you automatically via Firebase Authentication. You do not need to provide an email address, password, or any personal information. Your anonymous account is tied to your device install — if you uninstall the app, the account is lost and cannot be recovered. We are not able to merge, transfer, or recover anonymous accounts.

In-App Purchases

Tile Kingdoms is free to download and play. The app offers optional in-app purchases:

Season Pass — unlocks cosmetic perks, an extra daily mission slot, scout vision, and a build queue boost for the current season.
Cosmetic packs — decorative items that do not affect gameplay balance.
Remove Ads — a one-time purchase that permanently disables rewarded ad placements.

All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Refunds, billing disputes, and payment-method issues are handled by Apple or Google — Oguz Games cannot directly issue refunds. You can restore previous purchases on a new device by signing into the same store account and using the in-app restore flow.

Multiplayer Conduct

Tile Kingdoms is a competitive multiplayer strategy game. By playing, you agree to:

Not use bots, scripts, macros, or any automated tool to play the game or interact with the server.
Not exploit bugs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage. If you discover a bug, please report it via the Support page.
Not attempt to interfere with other players' gameplay, the game server, or the integrity of leaderboards and Hall of Fame records.
Choose a display name that is not offensive, discriminatory, or impersonating another person or brand.

We reserve the right to remove or rename accounts, reset progress, or ban players who violate these rules.

Seasons & Data

Tile Kingdoms operates in 4-week seasons. At the end of each season, gameplay state (settlements, armies, resources) is archived and a new season begins. Your player profile, Hall of Fame entries, and cosmetic purchases persist across seasons. Archived season data may be deleted after a retention period at our discretion.

Intellectual Property

Tile Kingdoms — including its game design, code, text, visual assets, audio, and the "Tile Kingdoms" name — is owned by Gökhan Oguz / Oguz Games and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Third-party assets used under licence are credited in the in-app licences screen and in the project's third-party attributions.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Tile Kingdoms is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (but not limited to) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the app or server will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Online features depend on server availability, which may be interrupted for maintenance. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so the above exclusions may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oguz Games will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, progress, virtual items, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of Tile Kingdoms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid Oguz Games (via Apple or Google) for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose, or, if greater, ten US dollars (USD 10).

Termination

You may stop using Tile Kingdoms at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the app in a way that creates legal, operational, or gameplay-integrity risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of Tile Kingdoms after a change indicates acceptance. Material changes will be noted in the in-app patch notes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer-protection rights under the law of your country of residence.
